What do I get when I download a preset or LUT collection?
Each download bundle may include:
A selection of .xmp Presets (for Adobe Lightroom / ACR)
A matching set of .cube LUTs (for video and image editors)
A PDF preview guide showing sample images
A Quick Start PDF with basic usage tips
What file formats are included?
Presets are in .xmp format
LUTs are in .cube format
What software can I use these with?
The LUTs work with most modern image and video editing software, including:
Photoshop (CS6 and newer)
Lightroom Classic / ACR
Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro
Affinity Photo, Avid Media Composer, and many more.
Some software may require plugins. Please check your application’s compatibility with .cube LUTs.
Why doesn’t the preset or LUT look quite right?
LUTs and presets aren’t one-click magic, they’re part of the process.
You may need to tweak:
White balance
Exposure
Contrast
Camera profile settings
Some looks work better on certain images. Experiment - the best results come from a bit of play.
Are these official film emulations?
Nope. These are inspired interpretations based on years of hands-on experience with film and digital systems - including darkrooms, scanners, and a touch of nostalgia.
They are not approved or endorsed by any film manufacturer.
Are any presets or LUTs free?
Yes. Check out the Basic Edit Kit and Free Previews, where you’ll find sample images and a few full presets and LUTs to download and try out, no strings attached.
I’ve downloaded my files, now what?
Check the Quick Start Guide included in your download bundle. It’ll point you in the right direction.
